Extremely Rare Class A 1984 Xplorer Xtrava. Lightweight fiberglass body designed by Ray & Roy Frank. Well preserved and maintained for over 22 years.
The Xplorer 340 Xtrava is a rare Class A RV with a custom-built lightweight fiberglass body designed by Ray and Roy Frank and built on Chevy/GMC P-32 (Fleetwood) One-Ton Chassis. Powered by a well-tuned 464ci Chevy V8 engine. Hydraulic leveling jacks make setup easy when you arrive at your destination.
The interior was recently refurbished interior with a journeyman-quality build using solid wood cabinetry in Walnut finish with brass hardware. There is oak parquet floor in the kitchen area, and there is RVIA Certified Plumbing and Electric. It has a propane-fueled heater and stove and a unique three-way (AC/DC/propane) Dometic fridge. Shower using water from the 2-way (propane/engine heat) water heater keeps hot water while traveling with propane off.
Updates include a Fantastic Fan in the kitchen and a Maxxair fan in the bed/bath area. All exterior marker lights and most interior lights were converted to LED. A high-end Pioneer Radio/CD with JBL speakers in the rear and a functioning CB radio with a tall antenna.
The Onan 5 BGA Genset provides up to 50 AMP service for simultaneous use of A/C (with heater element), microwave/convection oven, built-in blender, toaster, hairdryer, etc.; unique relative to other motorhomes of the era.
There are two 35-gallon fuel tanks, front and rear, a 40-gallon freshwater tank, and 20-gallon black and gray water tanks that enable 2-3 day boondocking.
Original manual and all receipts included.
