Classic Westfalia Vanagon POPUP Campervan ready to ride now! these are highly sight after for incredible German Engineering, Ease of Use, & Longevity!
This upgraded 1990 Westfalia campervan is a perfect adventure van for a couple or small family. The owners were able to enjoy this Westy for 5 years before moving to Hawaii.
When purchased the Buslab in Berkeley, CA, one of the most respected Westy shops around, diagnosed and performed all the recommended repairs. At 100k miles, a new Volkswagen Jetta 6 cylinder engine was installed. A new alternator, starter, and battery along with mechanical and electrical upgrades were done
There is sleeping space for 4 between the back bench seat bed conversion and the new pop-top tent with windows and vent and top mattress pad.
For meals there's a mini refrigerator, Stovetop, sink, countertops, cabinets. A new freshwater tank, pump, hoses and new Shur-Flo faucet system supplies the water. There's two small tables for dining. One's in the back and a front table that is removable and can swing out to make a dining area between the two front seats.
For entertainment, new surround speakers and new stereo with flip out screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for navigation were installed. A full auxiliary battery system with isolation from the main starting system. runs all of the peripherals and inverter and will charge via the alternator when the van is running.
The inverter routs the power to the interior 120V AC outlet to charge phones, laptops, and cameras.
A complete solar system with 200 watt panels and internally mounted solar charger to recharge both aux and starter system off-the-grid. The solar panel cable routed to the external plug on van next to city power and water refill ports.
