Here we have a custom Campulance!
The Ambulance Conversion is by Horton, the Cadillac of Ambulances.
Creative Mobile Interiors performed the RV bathroom/plumbing retrofit.
It sits on an International 4300 SBA LP 4x2 Chassis powered by a 245hp DT 466 ST engine governed to 2600 RPM and an Allison 2400 5-speed tranny. The seller has the original build sheet for the chassis that will go with the unit.
Some of the great features of the chassis include the following.
-Air ride front seats.
-Adjustable rear air suspension.
-3rd jump seat in the cab.
-7500-pound hitch with electric brake system
Some of the cool features of the Horton conversion are all the lights all the way around, the awesome air horns, and it even has a hidden button to lock and unlock the unit. Premium Rear view CCTV!
Horton conversions are all aluminum and made to withstand a rollover. When you close the door on the box, you will feel how strong and well-insulated this unit is. This unit is made for Heavy service, was dealer-maintained, and was in service at a rural township in Ohio for 160,000 miles for about the first 13 years of its existence.
The seller is the 2nd owner, and he had the retrofit completed to his specifications and did some of the work himself.
On the inside, it has a sofa that converts to a queen size bed and a bench seat with a seat belt, covered in marine-grade vinyl with storage underneath. A kitchen with a stainless-steel countertop, sink, and microwave.
It has a full bath, sink, shower, and cassette-style toilet.
It has air-ride seats in the cab section, and the driver's seat is a six-way power seat. Plus a jump seat in the middle. It has power mirrors, locks, and windows as well.
