This 2015 Chevrolet Express 2500 2WD Conversion Cargo Van with Hydra-Matic 6-speed automatic transmission, 8-cyl, 4.8L van runs on regular gasoline with under 100K miles has been well maintained and is ready for the new owner to take down the road onto its next adventure! This model is one of General Motors longest running production vans. Rugged and dependable.
Among some of the features onboard, you will find beautiful hi-gloss wood accents and trim throughout the cargo interior, floor and ceiling. The cargo area has been completely insulated, so this smaller-size model cools down/warms up fairly quickly from the front vents. The Allswell full mattress is in great condition, and securely attached to the floor. The cargo space is ready to be further customized by the new owner.
As for the interior cab, you will notice a spacious cockpit with curtains for privacy separating the cab from the cargo area. The owner has installed a Garmin Dash Cam 56 security camera fitted on the rearview mirror with an alarm for added protection. The interior windshield, driver, passenger, and rear windows have custom "Sunshades" manufactured by "High-End Sports" to protect the interior and provide additional security. OnStar Technolgy Directions and Connections include Automatic Crash Response, Stolen Vehicle Assistance, Roadside Assistance, and Turn-by-Turn Navigation. The Center Console offers extra drink holders, 12-Volt, 120-Volt, USB charging-connectivity ports, and Chevrolet AM/FM stereo with auxiliary audio input Jack. Center Console includes fuel range, Average speed, oil life, tire pressure, fuel used, average economy, tachometer, maintenance reminders & more.
Jackery Explorer 1000 Portable Power Station, 1002Wh Lithium Battery capacity, can supply 1000w continuous output and 2000w surge power. The interface includes two USB-C, two USB, one DC car port (3 w/ included adapter) & three pure sine wave AC outlets. It is currently set up so it can charge off the vehicle's 12v, or from solar panels (connectors are installed on van roof but van DOES NOT include solar panels). MaxxAir fan runs off the power station and uses very little output. Aluminum brackets on roof are fitted for up to two rigid 200W Renogy Solar Panels, but you may install any panels you like and easily swap out the Jackery Battery to fit your off-grid power needs.
Nothing circulates air like a Maxxair Fan and Roof Vent Cover with exhaust fan and manual operation that can run with the lid open or closed. The fan gets rid of stale air, smoke and odors and excess heat while preventing rain, bugs and leaves from getting inside.
Safety features include "StabiliTrak" Stability Control & Traction Control System. one of the most innovative and important safety features on a GM vehicle. Air bags, frontal, driver and right-front passenger (Includes passenger-side air bag deactivation switch. All four Goodyear All Terrain Adventure Wrangler tires were replaced October 2020. All Express Cargo Vans are equipped with stability control, 4-wheel anti-lock disc brakes and dual front airbags.
The driver and front passenger are divided by an enormous center bulge covering some of the engine and transmission, the width of which causes the driver to feel squeezed even in this large vehicle. The basic controls are easy to find and simple to use.
