This 2016 Retro 177 White Water Series by Riverside RV classic lines and colors reflect the early days of outdoor camping with today's RV amenities, including full appliances, a wet bath with shower, air-conditioning, and entertainment.
Hard to find a 177 White Water Series floor plan that offers twin beds. A comfortable front dinette sleeper with a picture window that offers sleeping accommodations for three.
Ultra-low GVWR of 3,500 lbs. makes this vacation run towable by nearly any small SUV. Manual levelers add camped stability.
The ergonomic full wet bath, positioned mid-cabin, forward, is quite large and features a new Dometic porcelain toilet with a hand-held shower. Add an at-home-like water heater.
Meal preparation is simple in the form functional galley featuring a deep sink, two-burner cooktop, microwave oven, and two-way, LP, and electric Dometic refrigerator-freezer compliments your modern galley.
Real hardwood cabinets are finished in hand finished and offer a warm feeling of Amish craftsmanship.
Open and airy interior split floor plan belies the 18-feet, 6-inch size. I did not feel cramped or claustrophobic.
There is plenty of space for two or three travelers, whether you are catching up on those pesky emails at the convertible dinette or relaxing on one of the twin beds.
A new tilt and swivel TV with a DVD player add entertainment options. Full stereo with new waterproof outdoor speakers lets you take the entertainment outside.
With the twin beds floor plan, you add tons of storage under the beds, hardwood cabinetry at the foot of the bed, and a wardrobe between the beds. Pass thru exterior compartment access to under-the-bed storage. Really nice.
As to storage, the owner added an aluminum lock box that allows for carrying all the travel and camping necessities one might want in a convenient location. Bring along your favorite outdoor grill.
This Retro 177 has a 9-foot patio awning that is manually operated and easily deployed. The wide whitewall tires are just over 12 months old and complete the vintage look. Let's add a spare to that list.
